Chord Randomizer
Stuck while trying to write a chord progression? Here's a simple tool for starting musical ideas.
Open a blank Live set, load the Chord Randomizer onto any track, and click the round button. The Randomizer will choose for you a musical key & four scale degrees, 1 to 7. Your new chord progression will be built off the chosen scale degrees in the chosen key.

Example: Randomizer chooses the key of C and the progression 4356. That might correspond to F major, E minor, G dominant, and A minor - the diatonic chords built off the 4th, 3rd, 5th, and 6th scale degrees of the C major scale, respectively.
However, as a challenge, you may voice these chords however you want - major, minor, diminished, etc...
Follow where it leads you.
